Located in the heart of Gauteng’s busiest tourism route, Molitva is perfectly positioned in The Cradle of Humankind. A mere 3km’s from the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, this country gem is a quick turn off Kromdraai Road. Specialising in fresh, organic, homegrown fruits and vegetables, Molitva’s mouthwatering food menu will charm any tastebuds. The menu is largely centered around a range of mezze and tapas styled foods from various Mediterranean cuisines, but also offers those that prefer something a little more substantial; homemade pasta’s, an array of salads, a selection of grills and a variety of appetizing burgers.

Head chef and part owner, Milan Cerimaj describes Molitva’s cuisine as “Orthodox Mediterranean” with subtle twists and adaptations.

Surrounded by the green, lush countryside and mountainous views, this restaurant and pub is the perfect setting for a day out with the family, a romantic date or a time to kick back and relax with friends.

The service was appallingly slow. Drinks took forever - explanations, they only have one blender - the manager intervened After 1 hour we did not have any food. We then tried to order pork chops, on the menu- no stock “ have pork belly”. Then tried to order pasta with Italian sausage, after a long wait the manager informed us that they were out of stock and suggested “ chicken and chorizo pasta” ?? Surely we should be able to have what we want not what’s convenient for the restaurant. Very disappointing as it spoilt Mother’s Day which only comes once a year.

Service was excellent - everyone was friendly and helpful. The coffee was really awful. We ordered Flat Whites and they were very weak and warm. Even adding an extra shot of coffee - it still was not great. We were with a group of cyclists and they all commented that the coffee is really bad that's why they don't stop here for brunch. Perhaps look at giving the correct training to the persons making the coffee as everything else was good.
