Located in the heart of Gauteng’s busiest tourism route, Molitva is perfectly positioned in The Cradle of Humankind. A mere 3km’s from the Rhino and Lion Nature Reserve, this country gem is a quick turn off Kromdraai Road. Specialising in fresh, organic, homegrown fruits and vegetables, Molitva’s mouthwatering food menu will charm any tastebuds. The menu is largely centered around a range of mezze and tapas styled foods from various Mediterranean cuisines, but also offers those that prefer something a little more substantial; homemade pasta’s, an array of salads, a selection of grills and a variety of appetizing burgers.

Head chef and part owner, Milan Cerimaj describes Molitva’s cuisine as “Orthodox Mediterranean” with subtle twists and adaptations.

Surrounded by the green, lush countryside and mountainous views, this restaurant and pub is the perfect setting for a day out with the family, a romantic date or a time to kick back and relax with friends.

    Service was excellent - everyone was friendly and helpful. The coffee was really awful. We ordered Flat Whites and they were very weak and warm. Even adding an extra shot of coffee - it still was not great. We were with a group of cyclists and they all commented that the coffee is really bad that's why they don't stop here for brunch. Perhaps look at giving the correct training to the persons making the coffee as everything else was good.

    We adore Molitva! This is our fifth visit, and we have always had a great time! We love coming back and recommending this incredible treasure, out in the country, to all of our friends and family because of the constantly great service and delicious cuisine. BM & DM

    I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! Their cocktails and dirty rice are absolutely exceptional. However, I wasn't a fan of the sauce they used on the ribs and chicken. That said, the portions were very generous, offering great value for money. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. One of the waiters even offered to hold our 1-year-old so we could enjoy our meal, which was such a thoughtful gesture. It was my son's birthday, and they went the extra mile by singing for him—such a sweet touch! Even though it's located in the middle of nowhere, I’d definitely love to visit again and try other items on their menu.

    The food is always great, service great too and the people charming The restaurant was really dark and on a gloomy day felt a bit more gloomy But we will return!

    Everything was terrible, from food not having taste, a mere greek salad did not come with feta cheese or olives, it was a add on. Our waiter didn’t know the menu well and the prices are different from when the bill comes. I hated it
