    Over our years of travel my wife and I have enjoyed Afternoon Tea at many different hotels, restaurants, Tea shops, etc. around the world. The Saxon Afternoon Tea was exceptional, as good as even the finest English locations, and better than most. We would certainly rank it in the top five Teas we’ve ever had. Everything came together perfectly to make this Tea so enjoyable. The food was plentiful, creative and tasty, including some traditional savories and sweets but also some creative twists that were innovative and scrumptious. The included Champagne was wonderful, of course, and the selection of Teas was wide and excellent. What made the whole thing come together was our server, Wilma. She guided us through the tea selection, explaining the nuances of each, allowing us to smell each different tea before choosing. She did the same with the food, tailoring each of our food offerings to individual tastes then explaining what was on our services item by item. It was truly an experience to remember.

    Water is a basic need, even when sold it should be of reasonable worth. R150 for 750ml is ridiculous, We we’re shocked to pay R400+ for 2 bottles. Water should be complimentary for paid experience !!
