Firstly, we were told they could only accommodate 5 pax on the far side, which was in the shade. We actually moved our table into the sun and added another chair, which could very well be done in the sunny side of the restaurant, and there was a table available at the time. I had the fish and chips which was lovely. We ordered the scone and tea/ coffee afterwards. It took forever to arrive, and the tea and coffee was cold by the time the scones arrived. We thought it was because they were being heated, but when it did come, was not even luke-warm . We also had to ask for butter. I had also taken friends the week before, for breakfast, which was excellent, although the coffee & tea arrived well before the breakfast even though my guests had asked for it to be served with their meals. There seems to be no sense of urgency with anything. We arrived just at the end of load shedding, so expected a bit of a delay. Otherwise a ,pleasant enough experience with the beautiful surroundings.

The fish was fantastic! We were promised an introductory drink - did not receive. Dessert station poorly stocked. After dinner coffee was instant - not a good idea

Not as wow as I would've thought, food was substandard, buffet could've been outdone by my own cooking. Sad to say but the name Moyo and previous visits to your closed Stellenbosch and Eden on the Bay venues, left alot to be desired in comparison. Quality has dropped big time and I won't be frequenting your business again. The setting alone doesn't make up for the poor buffet selection and meager offerings for a special day such as Mother's day.

Was really disappointed with the overall experience, setting is beautiful, but I've been going to Moyo since before when the Stellenbosch branch was still open, and the quality has always been exceptional. Until the Eden on the bay branch closed that was the regular one visited, however the food was bland, and really of low standard, and it's a drop in the quality of what I've been known to with Moyo. I had an alternative booking at the Pepperclub Hotel, and chose Moyo due to its location and quality, however it's a huge regret I have now having taken my family there. I am sure the Pepperclub would've been better . . . At this point, I don't think I'll ever visit Moyo again. and will regret it forever for having chosen Moyo's for our Mother's day lunch. My dad complained from the moment he walked in, spoke to a few people in Management and the chef at the food station. He was disappointed and the day wasn't even about him..

We had booked for the 2 pm sitting of the Mother's Day Buffet. However, as most people seemed to have booked for the 12 pm sitting, most of the food had been finished and we had to ask multiple times if more was to be brought out. The staff also began to pack things away before we were halfway through the buffet! What food we did manage to get was very tasty and I think we would have really enjoyed ourselves if we had received the full service.

Service is friendly, but there seemed to be too little staff, and we had to go and find a waiter a few times. Missed the traditional fair. No pap and African style veg. The music in the bathroom was very load, had to block out ears. Pity to see the establishment needs some repairs. Broken slates, and gutters need attention.
