    I had relatives from Australia, and they really enjoyed the whole Mozambik experience. Food was delicious, I had the seafood platter, which I would highly recommend.

    At Mozambik restaurant in Gateway, we experienced abysmal service that fell far below any reasonable standard. Despite making a reservation online and receiving confirmation via SMS and email, upon arrival on February 14th at 18h30, we found no one to welcome us. After nearly ten minutes, we managed to flag down a waiter who eventually directed us to a manager. They claimed they had no record of our reservation due to issues with their booking system, but assured they would accommodate us. Once seated, we waited an unacceptable amount of time without being provided with our menus or served drinks. Even after repeatedly requesting assistance, we were consistently overlooked. It became evident that other customers, particularly those of a different racial group, were receiving prompt service while we languished unattended. After an hour of waiting for our meals, feeling neglected and humiliated, we decided to leave. Despite the manager’s belated attempt to rectify the situation, the damage had been done. Our experience at Mozambik was marred by incompetence and a concerning indication of discriminatory treatment.

    It was our first Valentines Day and we had booked a table at Mozambik Gateway Thank You Mozambik for an amazing time although it was loadshedding the food was still good and presented well.
