Named after two streets in New York City, Mulberry & Prince is the brainchild of foodie friends and co-owners, Cornel Mostert and Cynthia Rivera, who met whilst studying at The Culinary Institute of America. The perfect fusion of South African and American, Cynthia grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and Cornel was born and bred in the Mother City. The pair's combined experience stretches to some of the world's top international kitchens including Noma in Copenhagen, Alinea in Chicago and The Modern in New York City. "Everything from the food, to the decor and music thats playing reflects both of our personalities, all coming together in an intriguing space," says Cornel Mostert, co-owner and chef.

Did not enjoy the breakfast burrito at all. It had a weird smoked flavour that was not pleasant at all and the potatoes were super greasy. I asked the waitress and she said that’s how it is meant to be. Was so disappointed with the meal in general.

An absolute rip off. R650 per person for absolute sub standard food with zero creativity and underwhelming flavours. The owners/chefs should be ashamed of themselves for serving such poor food and charging such a premium. Its evident we were not the only ones as the restraunt was empty all evening. I have never left a restraunt so raging in fury for being ripped off as I have tonight. Never Ever Again.

The food was incredibly flavourful and most of the portions were generous, although a little pricey. The service was attentive and the menu well explained. An amazing experience all round!

They accommodated my gluten-free wife with excellent menu substitutions. The staff was lovely - we will be back!
