Named after two streets in New York City, Mulberry & Prince is the brainchild of foodie friends and co-owners, Cornel Mostert and Cynthia Rivera, who met whilst studying at The Culinary Institute of America. The perfect fusion of South African and American, Cynthia grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and Cornel was born and bred in the Mother City. The pair's combined experience stretches to some of the world's top international kitchens including Noma in Copenhagen, Alinea in Chicago and The Modern in New York City. "Everything from the food, to the decor and music thats playing reflects both of our personalities, all coming together in an intriguing space," says Cornel Mostert, co-owner and chef.

The food is great and the service is brilliant, but the acoustics is terrible and makes it impossible to have a conversation. As a result, we left after our meal and went elsewhere for coffee.

One of my favourite go to breakfast spots in the city. I have ordered a variety of dishes from the menu and am blown away each time. The flavours and presentation is so worth it! The staff are friendly nd attentive making it a full experience. Definitely recommend this spot for a go to in Cape Town!
