Named after two streets in New York City, Mulberry & Prince is the brainchild of foodie friends and co-owners, Cornel Mostert and Cynthia Rivera, who met whilst studying at The Culinary Institute of America. The perfect fusion of South African and American, Cynthia grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and Cornel was born and bred in the Mother City. The pair's combined experience stretches to some of the world's top international kitchens including Noma in Copenhagen, Alinea in Chicago and The Modern in New York City. "Everything from the food, to the decor and music thats playing reflects both of our personalities, all coming together in an intriguing space," says Cornel Mostert, co-owner and chef.

    It's always a lovely ambience at M&P. This time around our flapjack/pancake stack was rather dry. Benedict was delish tho.

    I recommend giving patrons the option of spinach or tater tots. I missed the tater tots with the eggs Royale. Also the english muffin is smaller than before.

    This was my third visit for the chicken and waffles! I don’t know if it was due to the public holiday… but our table was not available, on arrival, the wait was long to get another table. Service was slow. The portion has shrunk considerably! If it was not for the amazing taste…. I would not return!
