Established in 2006, Mythos has fast become renowned for its authentic Greek cuisine, and ‘authentic’ is not a term we use lightly.

Our Head Chef brings with her a wealth of family recipes, and insists upon importing all her key ingredients from Greece. This authentic culinary approach has garnered us the title of Best Greek Restaurant in Joburg, Pretoria and Ekurhuleni at the Best of Awards from 2013 to 2019.

But for us, it’s not about awards, or accolades, or recognition. For us, our business is sharing the warmth of our unique Greek culture and tradition with you.

    The food at Mythos was very good, and we had a great experience overall. Lisa, our waitress, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. The only downside was that the restaurant can get quite loud when it’s busy, as there’s not much to absorb the sound. Other than that, it was an enjoyable meal, and we’d happily return.
