Established in 2006, Mythos has fast become renowned for its authentic Greek cuisine, and ‘authentic’ is not a term we use lightly.

Our Head Chef brings with her a wealth of family recipes, and insists upon importing all her key ingredients from Greece. This authentic culinary approach has garnered us the title of Best Greek Restaurant in Joburg, Pretoria and Ekurhuleni at the Best of Awards from 2013 to 2019.

But for us, it’s not about awards, or accolades, or recognition. For us, our business is sharing the warmth of our unique Greek culture and tradition with you.

    My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Mythos Majik Forest - what an amazing experience! The staff went out of their way to make us feel special, especially Bongani! The food was also exceptional. Highly recommended!

    Excellent experience. Super food, except that the chefs microwaved the Baklava and spoiled the pastry. A full restaurant is quite noisy. Service was very good, well done Thuli.

    Went for a birthday dinner with a group of 14 people. The staff were soo amazing. Some of our table took advantage of the Tuesday Meze special. Absolutely loved the Mild Creamy Peri-Peri Chicken Livers. Super duper tasty. Thanks for a lovely evening.
