    We’ve been to Nice on Poplar several times over the years and have generally enjoyed the experience, which makes this review all the more disappointing. We visited on a Saturday morning with a booked table, but from the moment we arrived it was clear the restaurant was struggling. It was absolute chaos. Our meals took around 45 minutes to arrive, we were given the wrong utensils, and several items on the menu were already out of stock. The saving grace was the staff. They were polite, friendly, and genuinely did their best under what were obviously very difficult circumstances. None of the frustrations were because of a lack of effort from the team. Unfortunately, the overall experience simply wasn’t good enough. Long waits, poor organisation, and menu shortages took away from what should have been a relaxed breakfast. It’s a shame because we’ve always enjoyed coming here, but after our experience on Saturday, I don’t think we’ll be returning.

    My first visit to Nice on Poplar, our waiter was attentive and knew his stuff, the food was delicious and the inside seating area is lovely.

    Had my birthday lunch with you yesterday. Had 14 ladies attend and we had a wonderful time. Service was excellent, food delish and ambiance even better! Thank you Nice on Poplar!
