At Nikos, we believe in honest, home-style cooking. Our smoky, coal-grilled flavours hero many of our authentic Greek dishes, and our portions are generous, as is our heritage. We dance, we smash plates and we welcome you into our family.

Originally established in 2017, and now operating across South Africa in our bespoke restaurants, Nikos is about relaxing and celebrating all in one. Sitting back, indulging in the moment and sharing it with family and friends. Our restaurants are modern and stylish, with bursts of vibrant colours and décor that celebrates our Greek heritage, while still encompassing South African tastes and flavours.

    An absolute culinary masterpiece! The food here is truly out of this world—every dish we tried was bursting with flavour and prepared with such obvious passion. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the house-made dips were pure bliss. The staff is vibrant and attentive, making the whole experience feel like a special occasion. 10/10! Truly out of this world—I’m already planning our next visit!

    We chose Nikos for our year end function. It was a table of 12. We wanted the guests to enjoy the greek experience. The food that we always enjoy and wanted the guests to enjoy was not available. Santorini baked feta, doulmades. Two of our favorites. The manager didn't know they didn't have stock. he "thought" they did. Poor show. The 1/2 chicken was dry to the bone. The chops dry, tasteless and very oily. You cannot compensate with oil to flavour badly prepared foi Od. When I asked about it the manager said this is the way they make it and they cannot explain to everybody how food is prepared. There were three occupied tables in the restaurant at the time. It was rather dissappointing.

We did have a problem with receiving certain items however I can assure you that we do our utmost to ensure that all products are always available. We apologize that you were not happy with the Skinny lamb chops and the chicken as this is our specialty dishes. We have done a grilling techniques workshop with our grillers to ensure that they deliver the best quality at all times.
