    We didn’t enjoy our meal at all. The aesthetics of the restaurant is great and thankfully the bottle of wine we bought was good but everything else was extremely disappointing. Our waitress wouldn’t check on us to the point where we’d have to keep calling a waitress for assistance. The starter we had, sushi pieces, was not good. The rice was not good at all. Our main meals were also very disappointing despite being recommended by the waitress. One of the parties I dined with ordered a meal that was then told couldn’t be served because it wasn’t to standards so she ended up not having a main but shared mine with me instead which was the pasta. It was extremely bland, lukewarm and not great at all. None of us finished our meal. Overall not a great experience for us.

    Seafood pasta was very oily. Impractical to eat as well (prawns and mussels required shells to be removed first).

    The most disappointing dining experience in years. We had arancini and sushi for starters…we enjoyed both. Main 1: mushroom and truffle agnolotti, the pasta wasn’t cooked, it was cold, and the sauce tasted and looked like a packet sauce Main 2: Seafood linguine. Uhm? A bland cream sauce topped with some mussels and prawns that were not fresh and overcooked. No seasoning. Again, cold. Main 3: 3-cheese kale capaleti. Only main that seemed thought through but didn’t land because of the overpowering blue cheese flavor. Blue cheese will inevitably overpower and cheese you pair with. Creative dish but perhaps the right cheeses need to be selected Main 4: Oso Buco. Uncooked pasta. That was not a ragu. Just dry shredded meat. Uncooked pasta. Packer sauce. Going in, we were very excited to try some really good pasta but disappointed doesn’t begin to explain our experience. We didn’t stay for dessert. Paid for our bill in full although we didn’t have most of the main dishes for reasons we clearly communicated to the waiters and manager. The service was slow, lacked finesse and utterly unrefined. Replacing Alma with this level of food and service is definitely…a choice Definitely won’t be coming back
