Step into the world of Nobu with acclaimed global chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s only outpost in southern Africa.

Nobu Cape Town brings classic Japanese cuisine with a Peruvian twist in a sophisticated space which seamlessly blends Japanese wa with the spirit of Ubuntu. Descend the stairs and be welcomed by cinematic views of Table Mountain into the main dining room anchored by handwoven tapestries by local artist, Julia Pepler Swanepoel.

To the left of the staircase, Nobu Bar stretches into an alluring intimate speakeasy-like enclave ideal for pre and post dinner cocktails crafted by our expert mixologists.

    Always a wonderful experience, it has just become extremely expensive

    The food was good, however, not as great as previous visits and the service did not match up to the price, we had far better service having a drink at the Vista Bar before dinner. The restaurant states no children under 12 yet we were completely surrounded by babies and toddlers, not the kind of restaurant you expect to share with so many kids. After many visits over the years it was disappointing as it is not a cheap restaurant.
