Step into the world of Nobu with acclaimed global chef Nobu Matsuhisa’s only outpost in southern Africa.

Nobu Cape Town brings classic Japanese cuisine with a Peruvian twist in a sophisticated space which seamlessly blends Japanese wa with the spirit of Ubuntu. Descend the stairs and be welcomed by cinematic views of Table Mountain into the main dining room anchored by handwoven tapestries by local artist, Julia Pepler Swanepoel.

To the left of the staircase, Nobu Bar stretches into an alluring intimate speakeasy-like enclave ideal for pre and post dinner cocktails crafted by our expert mixologists.

    Great food, atmosphere nice but a bit chubby music. Sky our waiter was friendly and helpful at first but seemed to have attitude when we were paying the bill.

    Nobu is undoubtedly one of my top three restaurants, and I must say the experience was absolutely beautiful. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is refined yet welcoming, and the service is attentive without being overwhelming. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, perfectly balanced, and a true reflection of culinary excellence. It’s more than just a meal, it’s an experience. I’ll definitely be visiting again when I’m back in Cape Town.

    The restaurant looks so much better after the revamp. Food was usual good Nobu fare. The menu appears to have been reduced but most of the Nobu regulars are still there.

    The food was ok, not wow for the price. Table location was not nice at all. My wife and I came for our anniversary but were squeezed onto a 2 seater between 2 very busy and noisy tables. We couldn’t even talk to each properly.
