    The food was beautiful...the prawns not so much and more effort could have been put in the desserts...overall the mains were exquisite

    The booking process is seamless. We went on a Sinday and the venue was not too crowded. There is a limit on the number of prawns and ribs, but you can go multiple times. The layout is great. The food is definitely value for money. The dessert is a letdown, unfortunately and no idea why the roti was like cardboard. Overall, service was great and efficient. Would return, but only for the food, as the dessert was a serious letdown.

    🍽️ Food - Ribs & Braaied Tandoori Chicken: Absolutely delicious – tender, flavorful, and the highlight of the meal. - Butter Chicken: Unfortunately disappointing. It tasted sour, and when we raised this with the staff, they explained it was due to the cream they used, but the dish was left unchanged. - Grilled Prawns & Hake: Fresh and well-prepared, another strong point of the buffet. - Salads: Crisp and enjoyable, a refreshing addition to the spread. - Desserts: A real letdown – poorly executed and not worth the calories. 🥤 Drinks One downside was that drinks were not included in the buffet price, which felt inconvenient and added unexpected costs. 👥 Service & Group Experience We were a group of over 30 people and requested a discount, but the restaurant refused outright, which was disappointing given the size of our booking. ⭐ Overall Impression Nouveau offers some standout dishes like ribs, braaied tandoori chicken, prawns, and hake, but the sour butter chicken, poor desserts, and lack of flexibility with group discounts left us underwhelmed. The food was okay overall, but the service and pricing policies could definitely improve.
