    Unfortunately the service was terrible as the restaurant was under staffed for a Tuesday night and there seemed to be a lot of new waitors who haven't received much training. However, the food and ambience was great.

    No, we did not enjoy our experience at Old Town Italy last night. There was no one present at the front desk to receive us. Our table was booked for 7pm. We sat at a table for half an hour and our waiter never arrived to take our order or to introduce himself to us. We confronted another waiter hurriedly walking past us who said we can order our bottle of wine via him and he'll get our waiter to come to us, which we did but that never arrived either - not the wine or the waiter. So at 7.30 pm we departed. It was embarrassing for me as I had selected the restaurant and made the booking. We had an overseas visitor in our company who must think we are truly backward in SA.

    I had the best time here on Saturday. I wanted to try something different with a friend since we were celebrating a special occasion and every moment was tasteful. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, from the service to the food, the vibe and the music. Truly delicious. Would definitely recommend!

    My simple penne chicken pasta was overcooked asnd overpriced. Service was inconsistent. We were not greeted at the entrance and could not find someone to take us to our reserved table. The bill took so long to come we had to get up and chase it at the end of the evening.
