    What a lovely new find! We really enjoyed our evening, service was very personal and genuine, food delicious and good wine list. Beautiful surroundings too!

    The food was good, although the presentation of the types of Tea was very basic from the waiter. We were hoping for a more traditional afternoon tea with a selection of finger sandwiches instead of basically one sandwich, followed by a few other savoury offerings that although were nice, it's very much away from a classic afternoon tea offering. Ambience and the house itself was very good. The waiter was trying his best but seemed very new and not quite as knowledgeable as he could have been, however that may just be because he is new and still learning.

    Loved every minute. Everything was perfect starting with the arrival outside and the parking reception. Here the difference between service and hospitality is experienced at its best

    Very disappointing Valentines dinner. We booked and prepaid R1300,00 for dinner at 7.30. Arrived 5 minutes before time. We were told no tables available. Had to wait for empty table. We had to wait 45 minutes to be seated. No effort was made to make it feel like valentines not a rose, chocolate or a free glass of champagne. Normally restuarants make a bit of an effort. Set menu of small plates. All 7 main course small plates arrived at the same time. 3 of the plates should definitely have been served hot. Cold oxtail croquettes and arancini balls not appetizing. If you going to advertise Valentines dinner please make an effort next time and honour your clients booking.

    Food was in general good but one dish was very bland.Service was terrible.Slow and often had to ask three times and candle we asked to keep the flies away never arrived.
