    The presentation was exquisite. The food and wine manager stood out with his exceptional knowledge—not only of food and wine, but of their history and culture as well. While a few dishes could benefit from a bit more depth of flavor, and the fish was overcooked and seasoned, this is easily overlooked because the overall experience is truly outstanding. Standout dishes - khoi heritage essence and foraging grains. A memorable and thoroughly enjoyable evening! De Tafel is going places

    Slightly confusing arrival with working out where to go, but the rest of the experience was lovely. Beautifully set up dining room. Music was put on after I arrived which added to the ambience. Norwegian breakfast of scrambled eggs and smoked salmon was delicious and not too heavy. Managed to have a work meeting and will definitely return for further lunch or coffee meetings in this hidden gem.

    another fabulous Sunday lunch at Palm Terrace- started in the Lounge Bar with a roaring log fire then enjoyed a delicious leisurely lunch by an amazing team - can’t fault the value for a special Sunday lunch spot

    I mentioned that we were celebrating my mom's 70th birthday, it was a bit disappointing that this was not acknowledge. Richard was amazing and food good.
