    All items were unusual and very tasty. Presentation was exemplary and staff were superb and informative. The one dish that stood out for me was the Green Pumpkin soup. The taste, the consistency and the serving in a small cup with coffee spoon made the experience linger.

    What an absolutely lovely experience! The food was incredible with delicately balanced flavours and the presentation was a feast for the eye. Dane and his team were immaculate hosts, and I cannot thank them enough for catering to my food allergies. They even made the dining experience extra special for us by adding an extra touch of sparkle to help celebrate my husband's birthday. We will definitely be visiting again!

    The most divine Sunday Lunch - such a generous serving of the most delicious food. It really is on another level. The service is excellent and they were so accommodating with my little one and even gave him a lucky packet!

    Regrettably the Spice Evening was extremely disappointing. The service and friendliness of Richard (Sommelier/Bar) was the only highlight - and perhaps wrong not to add the samoosas and paratha were good (nothing spectacular but good) - the rest inedible all round. The food was removed from our bill - however the R300 deposit was not - ie we still ended up paying part of it anyway! We ordered a bottle of the Springfield and a sparkling water large - so paid for those and the R300. I could write further about the meal/s - but it cannot be even passed as a curry, or a stew in fact. Tasteless watery something in each curry - fish "very fishy" and overcooked and tiny little pieces just floating around, the lamb - dont even know if it was lamb! Regrettably we were so looking forward to the evening and were going to then try the Steak Night, however, we will not be back.

    A lovely evening from start to finish. So pleased PalmHouse is finding its rhythm. Friendly staff who recognise repeat guests, good food and wine. Maybe the curry could’ve been a little spicier but all-round a very enjoyable evening in a cosy spot! We will be back.
