Born circa 1988, before the opening of the V&A Waterfront, Panama Jacks evolved from a boatyard servicing the Royal Cape Yacht Club to a quality Seafood Restaurant known all over the world. Situated near the V&A Waterfront Silo District, Panama Jacks is unique in its setting with all the hustle and bustle of a commercial port going about its daily business. The low-flag-bedecked-ceiling encapsulates the relaxed, Caribbean atmosphere where we believe that emphasis should be on tip-top food quality and service. Our extensive menus cater for guests from near and far and includes a recently added sushi menu. Additionally, our award-winning wine list offers an extensive range of South Africas finest wines. Not sure whats good? Ask us and well happily spare a suggestion or two. Take off your jacket, loosen your tie and let us do the rest!

Excellent seafood and very friendly service. Somewhat difficult to find in the cruise ship terminal, but well worth it once you’re there. Highly recommended!

They had no record of our booking. Host complained that Dineplan wasn't working. Would have been highly embarrassing for my guests had we been turned away. Disappointing and will not use Dineplan again.

It was a pity that so many items on the menu were not available on the day, perhaps Monday is not the best day to go. Food was good and served hot. Think the new space lack the atmosphere of the old location.
