    Our waiter Alpheus was a star and made the whole experience even more special with his witty jokes and great drinks recommendations.

    Not enough date night menus available, we kept getting disturbed by waiters every 5 mins during the evening asking for to borrow the menu. Highly disturbing. The waiter got our steak order completely wrong we asked for medium to well and the one sirloin was completely rare and the order well done to a point where it tasted like dried out biltong.

    Overall we had a good time, the music was great, the food was tops and I’ll definitely be back. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by the maitre’d and a waiter. We were seated and handed the menus, we were seated near a lighting fixture which made it slightly uncomfortable to get in and out but it wasn’t too much of an issue. Something we also noticed was that the table was dirty when we were seated. One thing we noticed was that the menu online vs in store is different. The prices are more which wasn’t an issue for us but some items are on the website menu weren’t on the in store menu which was a bit disappointing but no train smash. I ordered sushi and my parter ordered the swordfish and both were delicious, shoutout to the chef and the kitchen staff. For dessert I had the tiramisu and my partner had the cheesecake. Now on the website menu it stated there was a vanilla and caramel baked cheesecake but it was different in store. My partner specifically asked our waiter if the cheesecake was baked or fridge, our waiter didn’t know and asked a her colleague who confirmed it was baked but when it arrived it was unfortunately not baked. I know businesses reserve the right to change the menu and prices, but it was slightly disappointing. I can’t remember the name of our waitress but she was as kind and friendly. Overall she was lovely, there were a few times where she took stuff from our table (plates, cutlery) without asking if I was done. One the second time I decided to use my hands to eat. Overall it wasn’t a train smash, I worked in hospitality for 3 years (4 star hotel) and my partner is currently a manager at a restaurant so we pick up these things easily. You guys have a lovely establishment, and you will see us again soon.

    Food was okay, dessert was terrible. Restaurant and kitchen decided to close early because it wasn’t busy but didn’t even tell us before kitchen closed. Bad night out and ended up needing to go somewhere else
