    The last meal I had there it was good, however, last night it was even better. Thank you. Service was great and the room temperature was wonderful especially walking into having the heater on.

    We've had this waiter before and actually requested that they swap him out, he lacks basic waiter skills and is indifferent to his customers & their needs. He was absent for extended periods and while he provided the basics - was nothing more. Guests waited long times at the door to be brought through to table and there was a birthday at the table, confirmed when telephonically confirming the reservation - zero recognition or effort was made. All three steaks were returned as they were not correctly cooked, Manageress was sweet and assisted - but seemed out of her depth. We miss Patrick - never been as great a manager since - but great staff are not easy to find. Overall a pleasant evening - but average on more scores.

    An "undisneyfied" neighborhood steakhouse with good food and a great ambience makes Patina Steak Newlands a place to go back to over and over.
