    So disappointing compared to visits some years back. Menu more like a cafe/brasserie than the finer dining we experienced in the past. Pleased, however, to see the mussels on the menu as recall them as being excellent. Waitress came - sorry no mussels and disappeared. Five-10 minutes later after making another choice of seafood pasta, told it's unavailable as no mussels. Can one not make seafood pasta without mussels? We've now been sitting there for 20 minutes and not told at the start what is NOT available. Also, if one enjoys wine, drinking from a tumbler type glass not ideal as wine warms up so quickly - hence the need for a stem. I eventually ordered the calamari main course as wanted seafood but husband settled on his 3rd choice steak. That was fine but my calamari was dismal - a few scrawny, tiny bits atop a mush of sauce, wilted leaves and more corn than calamari. The worst calamari dish I've ever had. I did voice these complaints to the restaurant at the time, so I do hope they review waitress training especially about early notice of what is/is not available. As each dish was not exactly cheap, we went home feeling thoroughly dispirited. We still added a tip as poor waitress training was not her fault. As former restaurant critic, judge and reviewer, I feel that these pointers are relevant and hopefully useful.

    Wonderful find. Excellent food. Chicken goujons, just yummy. Hake was amazing. Good value. Excellent service from Zee. A minus toilets not on site, but very clean.

    Excellent service, Mathew was very attentive and helpful, he also knew how to have a good laugh. Food was delicious and portions were large. Highly recommended
