In the early 1940s, wine farmers in the Perdeberg region grew dissatisfied with the low prices they were getting for their premium quality grapes. Then an astute farmer named Jan Rossouw suggested they begin producing their own wine and Perdeberg Cellar was born! We pressed our first grapes manually in 1942 and while we have come a long way in terms of technology, we are still renowned for our hands-on approach!

    The cheeseboard that we ordered was phenomenal! The wine was really good too! Good service and very friendly staff. This was my 2nd visit to Perderberg Wines (I reside in the Eastern Cape) - I will definitely be back again! Good value for money all round:).

    Not a good experience at all. Ordered the bitterballens for starter and they were cold on the inside. The waiter who serviced us smelt of smoke.

    My Italian guests and their two children had a wonderful time! The cupcake decoration was a hit with the children and they could not get enough of the play area.

    A pleasant experience all round. Can recommend the Candy Floss tasting (with bubbles). We shared a Pizza and Red Velvet cheesecake, both were fresh and tasty. Staff very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Will be back, for sure!
