The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

    I've had lunch and breakfast at Piatto Boksburg, which is newly opened. The lunch options are excellent. Eisbein and chicken schnitzel. The breakfast was measly. I think the Power Breakfast needs more attention. For instance, there's too little food on the plate. The thing chips aren't filling. There's only 1 slice of bread, which could be grilled with butter. The grilled cheese and tomato I ordered hardly any cheese. I sent it back. So I recommend Piatto for a fantastic quiet lunch, but not breakfast or toasted sandwiches.

    The restaurant staff is welcoming & the aestheticics are giving. The food didn't take long to arrive and it was so well done and nicely presented. Overall everything was beyond my expectations.

    Bona!!! Theeee best!!! and the service was top tier bless the waitresses!!! But the was no alcohol 😭

    I feel bad I forgot our waiter’s name, such an amazing guy, great service overall and the space is beautiful and the food amazing. Our new go to restaurant from now on
