The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

At Piatto we are proud to offer you an exceptional experience with efficient service and quality. We focus on providing great value for money in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu boasts a huge variety of dishes and our food caters to all palettes.

    We had the pleasure of enjoying a Sunday lunch outing and Piatto Farrarmere and I can honestly say it was an wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely outstanding. Every dish was full of flavor and good sized portions. Atmosphere was inviting and homely on a rainy day. A special mention goes to Bruce, our waiter, he was friendly and welcoming and he confidently answered our questions and offered thoughtful recommendations that turned out to be perfect choices Overall, a fantastic dining experience with amazing food, a lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service. I would highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning soon

    Beautiful space, warm hospitality and friendly staff. It would be lovely if the was a baby changing station in the loo, also it would have been lovely if the music playing in the toilet actually played in the dining area as well.

    I strictly made a reservation for 2 and the setting was meant to be outside, but they chose to ignore that. The food was just okay but not best,they served us a rare steak without asking.
