The Piatto Restaurant and Grill story began in 2001 when the founder, Michael Yiallouris opened the first Piatto in Eastgate Shopping Centre. Today Piatto has grown to 15 stores across South Africa and we are planning to open many more.

    The food was exceptionally delicious. The scenery was to die for. The service was excellent. Even our waitress was wonderful and entertained the children as well. We are definitely coming back again for next year’s Christmas lunch. We truly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you!!

    I ordered a mango daiquiri, but the waitress gave me a strawberry daiquiri. I ordered an Alfredo, the penne was under cooked, which made me not enjoy my meal.

    The manager really tried his best but the other staff was no support to him at all. We waited over an hour just to get service after making a booking an prepaying for the meal with not enough food for the set menu.
