    Had to send burgers back because it was raw, then it was replaced only when the rest of the group had already finished their meal. 2nd time round it was still raw. The manager did come and apologize, but unfortunately we will definately not ever visit again.

    It was my first time visiting The Eatery - menu is very limited to only BREAD offerings - pizzas and burgers. We had the Beef burger - it was ok - nothing to rave about. The fries were very nice. When we arrived at the venue - I did book - we were not greeted - there were 2 men standing at the counter which we believed was the musician and manager. The manager did not assist us at all - a very friendly lady came to us and showed us where to sit. Service was not good - we ordered the onion rings as side and half way through our meal I had to get up to inform another waiter that they must please cancel it and then the waiter and manager came to the table - the waiter still pushed for it but the manager understood and said he will cancel it. The musician was very good and music very appropriate. The Eatery has great potential but I would suggest that the food offerings get reviewed. As I said, only ‘bread’ on the menu…. Will I visit again - No. Will I recommend it to my friends - No. I have always enjoyed The Deli and that I can always highly recommend.

    What a disappointment. As a Brackenfel local we have been looking forward to our first time at Hazendal for a long time now - and it was a total let down. The servers were unfriendly, cold, rude and unhelpful. The pizza were all over priced and under cooked. The mark-up on the drinks menu is insane to say the least. I doubt I will come back after this terrible experience

    My kids enjoyed every minute they spend at the Eatery and the waiter Zolile I think that's his name was friendly and attentive. Owwwww they enjoyed the food so so much, thank you so much to the team
