Each and every pizza we make is made from our signature slow-proofed dough. This process involves over 48 hours of nurturing in order to prepare the pizza before it is baked in our woodfired ovens at an extremely high temperature. Stretching the dough is a skill mastered by our pizzaiolos who each make more than 4000 pizzas a month.

    We booked on Dineplan and paid a R50 deposit pp. I don't mind deposits - in fact - it gives me security too. However, upon arrival there was no table available. Dineplan gives you the option to book in specific areas of the restaurant, but apparently our table was given away (we were right on time). They made us wait on the rooftop bar in the wind and cold. The manager was very indifferent and couldn't really explain to me where it went wrong. We ordered one of the 5 red wines that they have on the menu, just to be told they only have one wine in stock, of course the most expensive one. Once we were seated in the restaurant area, our waitress, Simthandile, was amazing. She made great recommendations and the food was superb. However, the fact that we booked AND paid a deposit and had no reserved table left a bitter taste. I took guests with me and it made me very anxious. What is the point of a deposit then? Surely the restaurant also has a responsibility here.

    Really loved the location, vibe and staff. Just a pity it was too windy to chill on the rooftop.
