We went on the wine estate adventure tour which lasted a number of hours. Led by Alfonso a glass of bubbles MCC welcomed us on the tour and refreshed us as we travelled from the tasting venue through the estate and on to ascending the mountain track. From the magnificent viewpoint and lunch table tucked into the side of indigenous bush the Plaisir wine estate spreads out into the valley with towering mountains in the distance. The platter and gin pairing with fresh fruits veg and spices were a tasty experience. We then moved on to the wine cellar where an internationally acclaimed wine maker took us through the finer art of building a chardonnay. A truly great learning experience. From there Alfonso took us back to the tasting venue and his friendly support team. Enjoyed a pizza and wine pairing, an eyeopener as to what a good chef can do with Plaisir wines. A memorable outing that we enjoyed from start to finish. Thank you to the team for the fantastic experience.

Service was friendly, but slow and ill-considered. Music was appropriate for a product launch or cocktail party but not for a Sunday afternoon wine tasting. Good pizza and lovely wine at good prices.

Plaisir Tasting Room responded on Sat 05 Sep 26:
Dear Keagan, Thank you for visiting Plaisir Tasting Room and for sharing your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the pizza, lovely wine, and our pricing, and that you found the service friendly. We had a scheduled tasting and when we arrived the staff was no where to be found, buildings were closed and when we did find a staff member, it was very impersonal. He poured the 3 gins, delivered them and walked away. Certainly not the experience we had in the past. Would not recommend.

Plaisir Tasting Room responded on Sat 05 Sep 26:
Dear Michael, Thank you for sharing your experience. We are very sorry that your scheduled tasting at Plaisir Tasting Room fell short and felt impersonal. That is not the level of hospitality we aim to provide, especially when you arrived expecting a guided tasting. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will address it with our team. We would welcome the chance to make this right and hope you might consider visiting us again. The Plaisir Hospitality Team

We did a wine tasting with a cheese & char Ute tie tasting in the new temporary venue whilst the main venues are being renovated. The venue is beautifully with huge glass windows and great garden views. The wines are always good, but this was our first platter and it was definitely worth its.
