All dishes clearly created with passion and attention to detail...all delicious. We had a selection of "tapas" and portion sizes very generous. Service was excellent and very welcoming. Thank you.

We visited Plenitude at Majeka House yesterday and can honestly say that Chef Callan and Chef Orlando have created a truly beautiful menu. There is something for everyone, whether you’re vegetarian, a fish lover, or enjoy meat; the selection feels thoughtful, balanced, and inclusive. We tried all of the snacks as well as several of the Light Bites, and every dish stood out for its freshness and quality of ingredients. We also had the Kalahari Beef Fillet and the Lionfish, both of which were of excellent quality and prepared with great care. The setting is stunning. We sat outside thanks to the good weather, but the interior of Majeka House feels elegant and luxurious without being overwhelming. Considering that Plenitude has only been open for around two weeks, it’s exciting to see such a strong start. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Majeka House in Stellenbosch, this is definitely a place to add to your to-do list. We’re very curious to see what’s still to come, this feels like just the beginning.

We dined at Plenitude for my wife's birthday. We wanted to try a new place in Stellenbosch and chose Plenitude because of its affiliation with the chef from Dusk restaurant, we knew the food would be at a high standard because of this. The service was great from the first greeting to our wonderful waiter going over and above to making our time there comfortable, they surprised us with 2 glasses of bubbly, which we really appreciated . Our starters were lacking though, we ordered the Heirloom tomato dish and the squid. The heirloom tomato dish was a splice between the two tomato salads that were on the menu. This was disappointing as we were particularly looking forward to the smoky asian flavours the heirloom tomato dish was promising. The squid was nice but under seasoned, yet the dresses micro herb salad garnish rescued it. Our mains were delicious, we had the fish and the lamb dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and the accompaniments perfectly complimented each other. The lamb was also delicious and the heavily reduced sauce that had almost turned to marmite actually worked with the lamb. Our dessert was a let down though, we ordered the 70 percent dark chocolate Mille feuille, but received something that was more representative of caramel cremeux / custard and no chocolate flavours at all. Overall it needs work, I would suggest sticking to what is says on the menu, as the unexpected surprises are not always going to go down well with diners. Lungo our waiter made our time there worth while.

The food was tasty, but the portions are small, and the line fish was quite salty. It would have been nice to see some of the nearby wines from Vriesenhof and Blaauwklippen on the wine list.
