Guided by Provenance, Inspired by the Abundance of the Stellenbosch Valley

Inspired by the spirit of abundance, Plenitude is the culinary address at Majeka House Boutique Hotel, helmed by Stellenbosch resident chef Orlando Reid.

This relaxed yet refined neighbourhood restaurant brings together the best of both worlds: laid-back daytime dining that invites you to linger, and a thoughtfully curated evening experience showcasing seasonal plates with inspiration sourced from the hotel’s kitchen garden.

Had a lovely experience at Plenitude. The staff was friendly and they made an extra effort to make it special for our friend who had his birthday. Highly recommended!

An unexpected surprize of excellence. The food was exceptional high in taste and authenticity but not too rich. Great wine offering. Warm friendly service and lovely ambience. This was a very good experience.

Plenitude, currently, is a diamond in the rough. It features warm and attentive service staff and a menu that is surprisingly broad. I hope they manage to establish themselves within the Stellenbosch dining scene to allow their kitchen to truly flourish. Keep an eye on their special offerings, such as Restaurant week, as well as any winter specials that may come.

Was looking forward to an exciting Sunday experience, only to receive a traumatic experience during second course, the waiter disappeared for about 55 minutes and we had to go beg by the reception for our table to be cleared and have the next course. Receptionists apologised and we received our last course but also when we had finished the waiter was not in vicinity and we had to go back to the reception to ask for our bill, which took a while only to come as wrongly undercharged. Had to help her with the calculations but no printed bill was presented, had to settle the calculated amount and tip without a physical bill.
