Postcard Cafe is named because of its’ picture perfect views, but also because of the diverse heritage of the owners of Oude Nektar farm, and guests who visit from all corners of the globe. Situated in the peaceful Jonkershoek Valley, home of Stark-Condé Wines, it really is “as pretty as a postcard”.


A variety of savoury and sweet dishes are served - breakfast, lunch, cakes, and desserts. The menu is diverse and dishes draw inspiration from a number of different cuisines.

    I was disappointed by the minimal items to order for afternoon tea. I was horrified eating yr cake with a dinner fork. When I requested a cake fork I was looked at by the waitress with a completely confused look on her face. The attentiveness of the waiters was not great. But the scenery and beauty of the gardens, lake and mountains made our trip to the Postcard worth it. Lynda
