We are an Italian inspired made in Africa restaurant with a dynamic team that always strive for a total guest experience from the 1st sip to the last bite and beyond. With our specialities being pasta and pizza, our menu is also packed with variety of tapas, breads, salads, seafood, grills, vegan burger and gluten free options on pasta and pizza. Not forgetting the bambino, bolognese, pizza, burgers and crumbed chicken strips.

    We had a lovely early dinner at Primi Melrose Arch before looking at the Christmas lights. The restaurant is well positioned in the square and the staff were so accommodating and helpful. The food was the usual Primi delicious and we enjoyed ourselves.

    Absolutely horrific. We booked and asked for quiet area. Seated at a dark section near the bar. Bar lady SCREAMING her lungs out to others with the bar orders . No salt and pepper on table. No lighting. We can truly say we couldn't talk to each other or hear ourselves. The whole evening was an absolute nightmare. We ate and left and wouldn't EVER EVER visit again. No serviettes where provided either.

    Thank you to Primi for hosting our year end function. You followed all our instructions to the T. The food was amazing, the drinks flowed continuously, and your staff were efficient, friendly, and professional.

    The burgers were really small in size considering how much you paying for them. The service was extremely slow, I had to ask 3 different people for the same item and never got it from any of them. Sitting upstairs was very noisy.

    Food: The food was decent overall. The wings and chips were enjoyable, as were the kiddies’ chicken strips and chips. However, the California pizza was disappointing — it tasted like something was missing, which took away from the experience. Value for money: The portions felt quite small for the price, which made the meal feel less satisfying overall. Service: Our waiter was excellent — attentive, friendly, and genuinely tried to make us comfortable. He ensured our kids received their food quickly despite delays in the kitchen, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall service of the restaurant was poor. Several items listed on the menu (including certain juices) were unavailable. At one point we were told the pizza we wanted couldn’t be made, only for staff to later say it was possible. They also ran out of mince for the pasta we ordered. I would rate the overall restaurant service a 2/5, despite the great effort from our waiter. Ambiance: The atmosphere was very chaotic. It was loud, the electricity kept tripping, waiters were rushing around, and there was shouting from the kitchen. It created a stressful dining environment rather than a relaxed one. Overall experience: It felt like the restaurant was not prepared for the festive season rush. We left feeling underwhelmed and hesitant to order anything extra, as we weren’t confident about waiting times, order accuracy, or ingredient availability.

    The service was shocking and the staff manic. The waiter forgot a meal that was ordered. The electricity kept tripping throughout the night. Really was not a pleasant experience.
