We had another wonderful experience on my wifes birthday. The food was excellent although a little pricey for the average Joe. The waitress seemed to be under training and spoke very softly & wasn't very confident yet, which could be forgiven as the head waiter was close by. We will definitely be back, be it only on special occasions. A wonderful dining experience overall.

We enjoyed the pork belly and trinchado to start and the beef rib and smash cheese burger for mains. My husband’s Banting friendly request was catered for (thank you). Dishes were beautifully presented and plentiful (there was no room for dessert). Attentive service. We were the only table not to sit outside, so inside felt empty. We look forward to our next visit.

Sorry to bother you - we never will again! The food did not disappoint, however EVERYTHING else was a huge let down. Despite booking, we felt unexpected, and were waved to “any table”, none of which were laid for our reservation for four. We had booked an inside table because it was a hot day, but it was hotter inside than out. So we sat outdoors. During the lunch sitting, there were only 3 other tables occupied. Previously the dishes are explained tableside, with such amazing descriptions that one wants to order everything. Not this time. The outside menu board was blank and we were told to take a photo of the inside menu board with our phones. We had brought overseas guests to impress so, by this time, we were cringing. Both couples ordered the platters for two, which arrived without the pork belly. That followed later one portion at a time at different intervals. The first portion was 4 squares of exquisite pork belly and wispy bits of crackling. The second portion to arrive was 3 squares with no crackling. Pay your money, and take your chances…. The waitrons were sweet girls with zero apparent training…very keen but fish out of water, with no oversight. The crêpes were described as “a crep with cream on top.” We declined desserts. The last straw was being told that they had no coffee. The supermarket is a 3 minute drive away. At their prices, it should be a dining experience, but more than 50% of the experience was missing. We paid and moved on to Friday Island (which was packed) where the superb service was a stark contrast, and enjoyed lovely coffees and liquers.

The food and service were both excellent. The food pricing was definitely on the higher end, which I imagine would deter locals. Save this spot for a very special treat! My only complaint is that he ventilation in the restaurant itself was poor, so there's a great deal of smoke build up in the restaurant itself.

We‘d expected more from the restaurant. The food was allright, but not exceptional. The service was very friendly, but spoke very softly so it was difficult to understand her. The music was too loud for us, so it was hard to keep up a conversation. The menu was written on a chalkboard hanging on the wall and was difficult for some guests to read. You have to get up from your chair to read it. The next time we will come I’ll take a sirloin steak. The Chesa Nyama we have been ordered was very fat. I know it is street food, but still.
