    After being a big fan of Glen Carlou , our visit on Sunday was very disappointing. The service was slow and the food a disgrace. Children’s burger cooked medium rare and over salted and spiced. We ordered the pork belly and were told there were no more croquettes. We had to insist that waiter serves it with chips instead. We received a slice of pork belly - a sad looking plate . The ostrich was also very tough . Definitely cannot recommend

    A perfect autumn Winelands lunch. Setting, service and wine were faultless. Food was interesting and fun. Proportions judicious, and we were tempted to eat and drink at leisure. Absolutely loved the pilot noir in both the rose and red format. This is where I take my visitors when I want to convey the message that the Cape Winelands are non parent. Well done and please keep it up
