Riboville guests are invited to indulge in a taste adventure, with our a la carte and set menus created by our head chef and executive chef. Meals are typically served at the restaurant, but can also be enjoyed in the lounge, the wine cellar, on the hotel patio, or in the exclusive private dining room.
The hotel offers a lavish continental and full breakfast, complemented by a generous spread of pastries and exotic cheeses.

Conference delegates are catered for with an elaborate buffet lunch and for special events we offer a tailor made set menu to cater for your guests.

Dinners are typically served from the hotel’s a la carte, whether enjoying a modest two-course meal, or embarking on a decadent five-course culinary journey. Meals are prepared fresh every day and best enjoyed when paired with a suitable wine from our extensive beverage list.

Dining at Riboville has become a foodie adventure, with menus that are constantly changing and evolving. Creating exciting, new dishes on a weekly basis, the head chef and their five-star team of chefs are artists of cuisine, catering for every palate.

Please note that the dress code for dinner is smart.

Generally the food is great at this restaurant. I’ve been to it numerous times. I had a poor experience this time. I ordered kingklip with veg sides. Firstly the dish came without the requested sides. The waiter explained that the chef had forgotten to add the specific sides I’d ordered. I let it go. I then told the waiter my fish was dry even though I’d already tried to eat it without complaint. The manager came and asked when I discovered that it was too dry, given that I’d eaten some of it already. That was off-putting and lacking in customer friendliness. I even said I’d rather change the dish to another (more expensive) dish as I didn’t want to run the risk of having another dry fish. He pretty much insisted that I have the same. Didn’t have the appetite to argue. Though it came back done right this time, the experience certainly left a poor taste in my mouth.

The service was very slow. I ordered a drink before my meal arrived and only got my drink after finishing my meal. The bottle of wine arrived with no glasses. After about 30 minutes I requested to change my drink as the glasses had still not arrived. Upon arrival of the new drink, the bottle was too hot so we had to wait again for it to get cold. Waiter had to fetch ice which took long and we had to wait again for the bottle to chill. Waiters were not as attentive with regards to refilling our glasses, the wait in between was too long that we started refilling our own glasses.

We went for drinks only, and were all satisfied with our choices. A few comments: - There is a cocktail menu online, but none printed for viewing on site? A bit of a guessing game which is odd. - The service was exceptionally slow; took 3 asks and having to walk to the reception to get a bill. Not very attentive. But a beautiful location - definitely a great sundowners' spot.
