The trendy Rockefeller Plaza is our main restaurant, offering an all-day dining menu with a range of sophisticated main meals as well as more casual wood-fire pizzas and tasty burgers. Children under 12 receive 50% off our standard menu (not applicable on the kids menu).

We also offer a Sushi bar, a contemporary cocktail bar.

    Our first time visiting this restaurant and sadly it was rather disappointing. On arrival, we were warmly greeted and shown to our table and handed menus. We placed our drinks order and were immediately told the wine of our choice was not available. Later on we were informed the gin we chose was also not available. A 3rd return the tonic of our choice was not available. The cooldrinks and gin arrived but we waited for the bottle of wine, this arrived almost 15 minutes later as it was in a store room. We had to find someone to take our order as we needed to be at artscape to watch a show. On the website it shows a 2:1 pizza special, we were told this no longer happens. Our food arrived - the 2 burgers were ice cold and sent back to the kitchen. 2 of the pizzas did not have all the ingredients listed on the menu. When the burgers returned they were not the same ones that were originally ordered and the onion rings were still ice cold. We asked to speak to a manager and told him our issues from the start, he apologized. We noticed waitrons collecting salad dressing on a shelf and heard the lids pop - Ina Parman dressings should not be on a shelf and rather stored in a fridge! Each table had a vase with a crunchy dead protea head in it. What we paid for was not what we received. On our way out we were basically ignored. This restaurant has a lot to offer and could be buzzing with tourists and locals. It’s embarrassing to think what overseas visitors would think of dead flower arrangements, off dressings, missing items and cold food. Sadly we will think twice before revisiting.

    After looking at the extensive menu we decided to have the pit special as they will offering by two and pay for one. Both the physical menu as well as the online menu clearly stated that this offering was available. Much to my disappointment when placing the order I asked is this special store applicable and was told oh sorry sir that is no longer applicable. The waiter than went on to state that they know they should remove it from the website and that we are not the first client to complain that it is still active on the menu but not available. If I had not ask the question at the time of ordering the food if the specials available there would have been uh argument at the time of paying the bill. This issue could be resolved say easily by them either Crossing out the affected section on the menu as it is a slipping piece of paper or by printing new pages. The food in itself was okay. The one staff member was exceptionally over eager to take our order and asked three times within 5-minutes of when we had just sat down. There after he was a no showing where to ask someone else to place our order.

    I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the service we received at the restaurant during our recent visit. Upon arrival, there was no hostess present at the desk to welcome us. A waiter approached briefly, mumbled something, and then walked away to the back. I assumed she had gone to call a hostess. When a hostess eventually arrived, she checked our reservation and simply pointed us to our table without any further engagement. A waiter then attended to us but did not introduce herself or provide any briefing about the menu or service. Her communication was very casual, and she was not attentive throughout the service. I had to repeatedly ask for a wine refill, which should not have been necessary. We ordered sushi, pizza, and two Chicken Limone pasta dishes. The pizza and sushi were enjoyable; however, the pasta was extremely sour. I understand that it is a citrus-based dish, but it was overwhelmingly bland with only sourness and no balance of flavour. We informed the waiter of this issue and requested the menu to possibly choose an alternative. She responded by saying the kitchen was closed and that she would inform the manager. When the manager arrived, there was no greeting or introduction. She immediately asked, “Do you want to order something else?” We declined, after which she mentioned dessert, which was confusing given the context and did not address our concerns. I also mentioned that it was my daughter’s birthday, which was not acknowledged at all. This lack of care and attention completely ruined what was meant to be a special day for her. Overall, the experience was disappointing due to poor service, lack of professionalism, and insufficient guest care. I felt compelled to bring this to your attention and hope it will be addressed to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

    Everything was horrible , especially the food . Ive been to Rockerfeller but I am never going there again .

    Oh what a beautiful place, delicious and good food portions! Definitely value for money! The ambience was so good ,I Shazammed a few tracks on the playlist. Would definitely come back again in my next visit to Cape Town.
