At the heart of our kitchen is a reverence for South Africa’s abundant natural pantry. From sun-kissed farms and bursting docks to the quiet generosity of our indigenous forest, every ingredient we select comes with a memory of place, of people, of time. This is food rooted in respect, and lifted by imagination – from desert, dock, and forest to fork.

Our menu is a journey through South Africa’s rich culinary heritage; reinterpreted with modern finesse. Expect flavours that honour tradition while embracing discovery.

Each dish is crafted with care, layered in flavour, thoughtful in texture and grounded in the essence of the land. You may taste the tang of coastal seaweed beside wild-caught fish or the gentle smokiness of heirloom grains paired with foraged greens. Every plate tells a story, and every story begins with connection.

Our beverage program is curated to echo this philosophy. Wines are carefully selected, drawn from winemakers and vineyards that understand the land as intimately as we do. Mocktails, spirits and signature cocktails are stirred and shaken with purpose, balancing bold South African botanicals with refined global techniques.

    I enjoyed the exceptional service at this top-tier establishment, which truly lives up to its reputation. However, the food delivery was slow, taking an hour for our starter to arrive. While I understand the high standards of this venue, the average meal for two people, with light alcohol consumption, costs around R4,000, which feels about R1,000 too expensive. That said, the service is world-class, with standout features like valet parking and impeccably clean restrooms equipped with towels and mouthwash. However, the pricing seems slightly inflated, and this does impact the overall experience. Perhaps reducing the service quality by a small margin, such as 10%, could help balance the cost without compromising the establishment’s prestige.

    One of my top dining experiences in Joburg! Their culinary team is absolutely FANTASTIC and put together an intricate blend of ingredients and flavours. Overall the environment is stunning, tranquil and makes you forget that you're event in Joburg. Service was excellent, professional, kind and made us feel well taken care of. Definitely HIGHLY recommend this experience!

    Such a stellar evening. From the moment we drove in, to sitting and enjoying the food and the ambiance. All the staff were so professional and friendly. The food was lovely, and the chef coming to our table was a lovely to. We have a beautiful evening and will definitely be back for more of the offerings.
