The Root44 Wine emporium, located on the first-floor, hosts offerings for the cultured person with a keen interest in wine, art, and good food. Surrounded by a well-designed structure and stylish interior, it boasts an art gallery, sport’s bar, oyster bar, coffee shop, restaurant and a wine shop and tasting room that showcases local wines and gives guests a tasting experience of an array of Stellenbosch wines.     Excellent experience and a big thank you to our lovely waitress, Alister, who have been friendly, professional and patient with us. We will definitely come back in the near future and hope to be served by Alister again! Overall, an amazing and beautiful experience!

    We had a wonderful evening at Root44 Restaurant celebrating my Dad’s birthday. A special evening with friends. Great service by Blessing and Fortunate who looked after us very well. Responsive, attentive and service with a smile. Delicious food and a great wine selection. Amazing views and an overall wonderful experience. Will visit again!

    Very disappointing, incredibly slow service we waited over 2 hours for our food and some of it was even sent back due to it being inedible. I had overseas guests with me and it was an embarrassment
