    Very disappointed about the mozzarella tomato dish. Weak presentation and without taste.The other dishes wear okay but not special.

    A wonderful place, where I felt home. I was surrounded by art, and had a very professional and lovely service. You like to sit here with your partner, family and friend and just have a great time in a friendly atmosphere. The food is great value for money. What I mean by that, is that similar thoughtful prepared dishes, compared, cost a fortune in other places in the Cape. The chef, Alex, made me the risotto (perfect cooked) and the springbok in a very tasteful way. The dessert was heavenly. Cinsaut was the choice of wine, unusual, but great working combination. I went there, because I wanted to treat myself after a long working day. My brother in law, who is a food lover and sommelier, recommended this place warmly to me. I felt fantastic and left with the feeling to tell all my friends, family and guests to go. But only those who are local food, and family business lover, and appretiate the dedication they give you, worth to remember as a delicious, joyfull and perfect experience in the middle of the historical town of Stellenbosch!! (Between and off the sometimes touristy dorp and church street)

    A great meal for 6 of us… love the idea of snacks , small plates, mains and deserts. We ended up having all 4 and it gave us the perception of being expensive and too much food. Next time we will choose 2 …overall all the dishes were very tasty and beautifully presented.

    Delightful experience with you and your team. The food was outstanding and the portion very very generous. Service was fine though some of the waitresses still seemed inexperienced - nothing that training can't fix. The ambience seemed a little sterile inside and we were missing a little level of comfort re the ambience. Overall though we loved the experience - your food is out of this world. Thank you for sharing your culinary art with us.
