    I've lost count on the amount of times I've been to the restaurant as I enjoy it's location, ambiance and the great food. I have tried various meals and of later, mostly opt for the Luxury platter. One therefore becomes accustomed to the food and it's texture and quality. Last night my friend and I, (who have been here many a times), had our usual platter and we both found the chips was not freshly made, the mussels sause lacked it's usual flavour, and tasted more like a white sause opposed to the garlic rich flavour we've grown used to. I do however commend that the fillets was made to perfection, as well as the prawns. I must say that the prawns at the end, made up for the disappoitment in the mussels sauce.

    The mussels were great, but my personal taste would require more garlic. The prawn platter could do with some butter sauce. Overall, great value and we will be back.

    The Thai fish cakes were more like croquettes than proper fish cakes. Tasty but not really satisfying. Poke bowl was amazing

    This was one of the worst meals I have ever had the displeasure to experience. I have eaten here before and it was pretty decent, but last night was absolutely disastrous. We ordered the calamari, and it was like rubber bands. At first it was raw, and then it was just awful. No sauce except a crusty yellow mayonnaise. No flavour, just this pile of rubber. The chips were cold and the portion mean. The server had absolutely no clue. We changed the order to fried fish, and it was not fresh. I don't know whether there has been a recent change of ownership, or whether it was just a skeleton crew on a tuesday night, but never have I ever had anything quite as bland, tasteless and just awful. It tasted like it came out of the freezer and into a microwave. I think the place is a sushi bar and nothing more. Last week we went to ocean basket and had calamari. What a difference - properly grilled, a tasty sauce, great service. If small restaurants want to compete with big franchises, they need to pull up their socks. Needless to say I will not be returning to Salt and Lemon again. No salt, no lemon...

    we usually have sushi but for a change my wife had sea food soup I had 9 prawns both meals excellent
