Situated on the mezzanine above Galjoen. It is an intimate restaurant with a tasting menu experience that riffs on gastronomic nostalgia in a contemporary reimagining of ‘surf and turf’ by demonstrating the broader creative potential of sea and land ingredients brought together in imaginative ways and washed down with offbeat wines.

High tables with tall chairs create a faintly bar-like atmosphere, and through the large rectangular window, there’s an unexpected view of Table Mountain visible over the chefs’ shoulders. The design scheme imaginatively evokes the shoreline – that in-between place where land and ocean engage in a kind of eternal conversation. It is a creative, simple, and sophisticated space with the focus absolutely on the food.

After walkinb up the steps of the restaurant we were instantly transported to a utter bliss. The snacks, lollipop and coffee with deserts made us feel like we were spending time with loving family and each dish had intricate details that all played a role in creating the most unique experience we've had in years...Well done on putting heart and soul into this space, it was my wife's best dining experience ever !! Last thing...have a glass of Oom Koos gaan see toe, it works with everything !! See you guys soon !!

So much passion, skill, research and thought has gone into everything at Seebamboes. Each dish was phenomenal, the staff were so invested and engaging throughout the meal. The chef is remarkable. All in all, it is an absolute must in Cape Town. The wines are bespoke and lesser known varietals and variants, wonderful to discover new incredible local wines. Well done to the Seebamboes team!

A superior experience. We loved it, and have been debating whether it was our best dining experience! Seebamboes was better than all the Michelin/Beard restaurants we've tried (in US or UK). The menu, presentation, wine...all was 100/100. When considering the value, it is a no brainer. The co-owners were knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and made the experience even better. We loved one of the wine selections, and they provided us with the contact info for the vintner. Above and beyond in all aspects.
