    Great location - we chose to sit inside for lunch which was both lovely and peaceful. Service and staff were great. Our lunch choices were beautifully presented and of a good quality. As residents of Cape Town we will be retuning in the near future.

    We ordered a salad to share and prawn linguine and grilled calamari. We waited for a long time and then the main courses were brought out. We asked about the salad and the server was surprised that the salad had not been brought out. He put down the main courses. My prawn linguine looked like it had been sitting under the heat lamp for 30 minutes. Another 10 minutes and I would have been eating prawn jerky. The pasta resembled hay; the top layer of pasta was inedible. Then the salad arrived, without plates to make sharing possible,and we sent it back. The main server came over to ask why the salad was returned. When we told him, he claimed that we never told him that we wanted the salad first. We also didn’t tell him that we wanted the food cooked, but they managed to figure that out. Would never eat here again.

    It was a lovely evening, dealing with Veronique was a great pleasure and staff were wonderful. Client did say the timing was a bit out, some tables were finishing their desserts and leaving whilst other tables were only having their dessert delivered which wasn't ideal. I think what was disappointing was the demanding of payment for balance on the night (a small 31K) - as though we were untrustworthy, after paying a substantial deposit - not cool!
