    The seafood platter was way overpriced for what was served

    The area in the restaurant was extremely noisy with big tables doing company employee awards etc. This made conversation difficult. We had an overseas visitor which made it uncomfortable as we could not hear each other.

We apologize if the atmosphere wasn't ideal for conversation, especially with your overseas visitor. While we strive for a peaceful ambience, we weren't aware the large table reservation that evening was for a company event, which can sometimes lead to higher noise levels. Looking ahead, if you desire a quieter table on your next visit, please let us know when making a reservation. We'll do our best to seat you in a more secluded area to minimize any disruption. It's also worth noting that the V&A Waterfront can have live entertainment in the amphitheater above us, which can occasionally contribute to the noise level you might have experienced.
