Architecturally designed Sky Villa Boutique Hotel overlooks the beautiful bay of Plettenberg Bay, also known as the Bay of Beauty, ‘ Bahia Formosa’.

Sky Villa is situated high above Plett with panoramic views of Robberg Peninsula, the Indian Ocean and Outeniqua Mountain Range. The hotel is surrounded by award winning, landscaped gardens with an abundance of bird life. The art gallery flows into the gardens with spectacular bronze sculptures by local artists.

Sky Villa has 14 air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms. At Sky Annex we have a further 6 bedrooms and self catering, Sky Cottage. All bedrooms in the main hotel open onto spacious outdoor balconies with beautiful ocean or mountain views.

Sky also has a well equipped gym for hotel guests. An outdoor yoga deck with panoramic views. Massages can be arranged in our salon at Sky hotel.

Sky Bar is the perfect spot for enjoying a cocktail and taking in the magnificent views or lounging around the Sky pool. Drinks and light lunches can be enjoyed around the main hotel pool. Sky restaurant offers breakfasts, lunches and dinner. A selection of exclusive wines are available from our wine cellar.

Plettenberg Bay has 6 blue flag sandy beaches and ocean safari’s. Sky green flag cycle trails sweep through the indigenous fynbos biome. Plettenberg Bay has been crowned a Whale Heritage Site, one of seven worldwide. Incredible hiking in and around Plett, Robberg Nature Reserve is not to be missed. Interesting markets with organic produce, local and African arts and crafts.

    Everything was satisfactory but not satisfied at all with aftercare service as they did not deduct the deposit from our bill and two weeks later we have still not received the money back.

    Apart from a mix up with our booking being made for next week, we enjoyed the evening. My husband and brother in laws meal was excellent. Sadly my chicken caprese was disappointing. Chicken tasteless and the meal was not hot in temperature. Bobotie my husband’s choice was fresh from the oven and very good.

    We reserved a table for a girls night and had an absolutely amazing evening. We did find the service very slow and had to call staff after nobody took our drinks order. We had to request a steak knife for our meal as one was not given, as well as the sauce was completely forgotten from the dish. One of our chicken dishes was raw and had to be sent back, and the pork belly too hard and dry to cut threw and was returned to the kitchen. Our group have mixed feelings about the experience. We had a lot of fun and it was a beautiful experience, however the service and food did not live up to the expectations of the space. While enjoying the view and taking some photos we where rudely requested to stay within the restaurant and not take photos around the venue. We found this very unwelcoming and did not set a good tone.
