Architecturally designed Sky Villa Boutique Hotel overlooks the beautiful bay of Plettenberg Bay, also known as the Bay of Beauty, ‘ Bahia Formosa’.

Sky Villa is situated high above Plett with panoramic views of Robberg Peninsula, the Indian Ocean and Outeniqua Mountain Range. The hotel is surrounded by award winning, landscaped gardens with an abundance of bird life. The art gallery flows into the gardens with spectacular bronze sculptures by local artists.

Sky Villa has 14 air-conditioned, en-suite bedrooms. At Sky Annex we have a further 6 bedrooms and self catering, Sky Cottage. All bedrooms in the main hotel open onto spacious outdoor balconies with beautiful ocean or mountain views.

Sky also has a well equipped gym for hotel guests. An outdoor yoga deck with panoramic views. Massages can be arranged in our salon at Sky hotel.

Sky Bar is the perfect spot for enjoying a cocktail and taking in the magnificent views or lounging around the Sky pool. Drinks and light lunches can be enjoyed around the main hotel pool. Sky restaurant offers breakfasts, lunches and dinner. A selection of exclusive wines are available from our wine cellar.

Plettenberg Bay has 6 blue flag sandy beaches and ocean safari’s. Sky green flag cycle trails sweep through the indigenous fynbos biome. Plettenberg Bay has been crowned a Whale Heritage Site, one of seven worldwide. Incredible hiking in and around Plett, Robberg Nature Reserve is not to be missed. Interesting markets with organic produce, local and African arts and crafts.

    Sadly service was lacking with having to wait way too long. Breakfast delivered without toast and having to wait for butter. Friendly waiter but he was completely untrained and out of his depth. Spicy mince was super hot and crispy bacon was uncooked. Such a pity because venue is stunning.

    We had the most amazing breakfast at sky villa. All our food was done with real butter as per request and was delicious. It is very scary when you go out for dinner and many restaurants are still use margarine and seed oil in the food preparation. The service was also fantastic.

Enjoy a cosy 3 course meal with a glass of bubbly for R 325 per person. STARTERS: Roasted butternut soup OR Garlic snails served with Ciabatta bread OR Beef carpaccio, wild rocket and parmesan shavings, served with savoury bread. MAINS: 3-hour slow cooked lamb shank served with mushroom Risotto and a red wine sauce. OR Seared Tuna, served on roasted garlic and onion crushed new potato, with green beans. OR Stuff chicken breast wrapped in bacon, served on Moroccan cous-cous with baby corn and sweet baby carrots and a rose mushroom sauce. OR Quiche served with green seasonal vegetables and roasted cherry tomatoes.
