    Very courteous and initially very attentive. Then they all 'fell asleep' - our starter arrived promptly - and then it took another 1 hour before mains arrived. Some lame excuse that the chef wasnt happy with the way fish had been cooked - but it doesnt take another 45 min to get it right !! Then bill arrived and they had conveniently forgotten to take my R400 deposit off !! But did rectify quickly. Great wine list and interesting menu.

I sincerely apologise for the extended delay between your starter and main course. While our chefs are committed to quality and will not serve a dish that does not meet standard, your point is well taken—this should have been managed far better, both in execution and in communication. A delay of that length is understandably frustrating and falls short of the experience we aim to deliver. I also regret the oversight regarding your deposit on the bill. Although I’m pleased it was corrected promptly, this should not have occurred and has been addressed with the team to ensure tighter checks going forward. Thank you for acknowledging our wine list and menu; I’m glad these aspects stood out positively despite the service lapses. Your feedback has been shared with both the kitchen and front-of-house leadership teams and will be used constructively as part of our continuous improvement process.
