    My friends and I enjoyed an idyllic afternoon at Spier. Our picnics were tasty and there was plenty to eat. The staff were very friendly and polite and nothing was too much trouble for them.

    We had a 21st birthday party for my daughter for almost 60 guests. The setting was beautiful around the huge oak tree, where blankets, backrests and cushions had been set up. The champagnes, wines and waters we had pre-ordered were beautifully set up on ice, and our snacks were laid out. The staff were super helpful, checked when we wanted our food baskets to arrive, helped set up and cleared away everything. The food was wonderfully individually packed - both the summer and the vegetarian baskets were tasty, fresh and excellent, and there was more than enough food. We also ordered 3 cakes (carrot, chocolate and vanilla) which were excellent. It was truly a wonderful experience for the birthday lady and her friends.
