As usual Spookfontein did not disappoint. Although an overcast day, our guests loved the location even with the limited views due to the weather. The hake & chips had by 3 of the party were very good. The Sea food tomato Bredie was delicious but needed at least double the rice served in the same dish! Nevertheless we will be back!

Our group of walking ladies loved the whole experience. The pork Ramen was mentioned as the best someone had ever had.

Tasty starters and very good main dishes, including several vegetarian options. King oyster risotto was a well-made starter. Seafood tomato was acceptable, but could have brougt out more the various fish varieties. Lovely ambience and excellent service. Restaurant only serves wines from the estate, which is a limitation as there are no dessert wines. Very nice place for a weekend lunch.
