Brilliant as always. Service does get a bit slow as the restaurant fills up. I think they would benefit from appointing one more server.

Spookfontein is one of the best restaurants we go to. It never fails in any way. Our waiter, Nick has always been excellent

Once again enjoyed a lovely meal in a very picturesque setting at Spookfontein restaurant. The restaurant is very professionally run by Vaughan and Francis. The menu is contained but with something for everyone and all the food tasted before was delicious. We had the hake in the crispest of beer batter and french fries as served in France - shoe string size and with real mayonaise. Hake was fresh, and mushy peas aside just right. I celebrated my friends' 25th wedding anniversary with MCC and afterwards we had a lovely glass of smooth rose(made from merlot!), gently oaked chardonnay and a glass of fruity cool climate pinot noir for dessert. This is a restaurant to return again and again to for great food in a relaxed ambience with a beautiful view over attentive service. A winner in the H&A valley.

Our third time here and still excellent, fresh simple flavors. Thanks to the restaurant team for a great job

It was a great experience! We were impressed by the quality of the food. Very nice staff and with good weather, I would recommend the courtyard. We will definitely come back!
