The new Stellenbosch Kitchen restaurant, located in the historic centre of Stellenbosch, operates in a National Monument building that previously housed the very popular Jan Cats Restaurant & Ladies Bar, established in 1987.
Stellenbosch Kitchen and its underlying property are owned by Andre and Helena Pieterse, who also own the 5-star Coopmanhuijs Boutique Hotel & Spa and the highly regarded Helenas Restaurant at 33 Church Street in Stellenbosch.

Our dishes are adapted from classics found around the world. We source most of our produce within 50km of Stellenbosch and we liaise closely with our suppliers to procure only the freshest seasonal ingredients.

    I love to come to Stellenbosch Kitchen when I am on tour with guests. Friendly and efficient service, great choice of meals and drinks, value for money.

    Yet another lovely meal at this restaurant. My husband had the Fish & Chips and I had the Spaghetti - both meals were delicious and the staff extremely friendly. Thoroughly recommend

    Another very enjoyable meal here - we have been many times and never had a bad one. We both had Fish of the day, which was kingclip and shared the cheesecake, which was amazing!

    Die Portionen sind sehr übersichtlich, wenn man etwas austauschen will, geht es nicht, zum Beispiel Stadt Stadt Kartoffeln, etwas Salat, muss man den Salat extra bezahlen – hab ich so noch in Südafrika nicht erlebt. Es gibt bessere Lokale in der Stadt
