The new Stellenbosch Kitchen restaurant, located in the historic centre of Stellenbosch, operates in a National Monument building that previously housed the very popular Jan Cats Restaurant & Ladies Bar, established in 1987.
Stellenbosch Kitchen and its underlying property are owned by Andre and Helena Pieterse, who also own the 5-star Coopmanhuijs Boutique Hotel & Spa and the highly regarded Helenas Restaurant at 33 Church Street in Stellenbosch.

Our dishes are adapted from classics found around the world. We source most of our produce within 50km of Stellenbosch and we liaise closely with our suppliers to procure only the freshest seasonal ingredients.

    Food was so terribly dissapointing. Would definitely never go back. They tried making up for the bad meal by giving a free dessert, but unfortunately the dessert was just as tasteless. The Staff was great though.

    I really enjoyed the peacefulness and willingness of the staff to accommodate my birthday. It was perfect, the food was great! The menu is amazing! All compliments go to the chef, incredible staff and unforgettable experience!
