    Sorry. We have canceled our breakfast which would have been a continental buffet breakfast. There were not a good variety to choose from for either vegetarian or halaal. We were just comparing it to the other hotels where we usually have breakfast after our early Sunday morning walks. Your price was also more compare to the other hotels

    We enjoyed our experience at the restaurant. Food was very good (mezza platter), every element had good flavour and went well together - dessert was also nice. Pina colada was a bit too icy (not smooth) but otherwise cocktails were ok. Service was good, our server was friendly and gave us just the right amount of attention. Kids play area is nice but not really for very young children (under 3), lots of safety issues to be wary of - I think that's also why you need to sign an indemnity. Only real negative point was that the area where we were seated, as well as table and chairs, was a bit messy/dirty when we got there - we arrived at 3pm so this may have been due to a busy brunch period and cleaning was a little neglected. Overall it was very good value, we will happily visit again.

    Our booking was for 12pm. We arrived in time but were told that we didn’t have a table as the group before hadn’t finished yet. I had specifically asked for a table close to the kiddies area as it was my 4 year old’s birthday. They said they would “make a plan for us” and try put a table together far at the back of the restaurant. The manner in which THEIR mix up was handled was extremely poor. We stood around for 30 minutes before my mother asked another guy sitting at another table to please move up one table so we could make a plan and put two tables together! The staff made us feel bad for having arrived on time for our booking and for their mix up: using these exact words - “those people booked first”! This had nothing to do with us and should have been managed and coordinated by the staff - not us, the customers!! The double booking was their mistake and not ours as customers. Please educate your staff on customer etiquette. We felt bad for the guests we had invited to join us. It was an embarrassment.

    Strolla is always my first option in summer. From the staff to the ambience, Strolla is one of my favourite inn Cape Town. Give them 6 stars.
