    I had booked two weeks in advance for Valentine’s Day with my partner, expecting that booking would ensure the restaurant would know to staff for the number of people coming in on the day. Boy was I wrong😂 It took asking for a waiter at the front desk to get seen to order drinks about 15 minutes after being seated, whilst the tables next to us were getting attended to hand and foot. I expected a delay in orders due to the fact that it was busy, but seeing the disparity in service for people next to us really bothered me. Then when our starters order arrived, I had to go to the waitress to ask for cutlery, which you’d assume comes before you even get your meals. That’s an easy enough request, but that took long enough for our dumplings to get cold and honestly that was enough for me for the night. I cancelled our remaining orders and just wanted to pay for the stuff served to us, and guess what? That took another 10-15 minutes to get done!😂 While everyone else was continuing getting timely service 😂 The entire time, the team behaved as if this was normal behaviour and couldn’t even muster up the strength to take accountability for any of their mistakes until I called them out for it. Having experience in hospitality, I truly understand when things are difficult and don’t expect magic to happen, but honestly a heartfelt and non dismissive apology even once, accompanied by actual service and not me having to call for a waiter every time I just wanted a basic request I’d already made fulfilled would really have just smoothed things over. Your food’s good but goodness me, was the service abhorrent.

    Food was so pricey, and portions are small for the prices. We left the restaurant still hungry but the dinner cost us over 1k
