    ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5) The food and service at Tang were genuinely excellent, beautifully prepared dishes, great flavours, and attentive staff. From a culinary and hospitality perspective, the experience mostly lived up to expectations. That said, for two people dining, with a bill of just over R5,000, I was surprised by how difficult it was to get help with something as basic as charging my phone. I was initially refused, then told it would only be possible if the manager approved it. Even then, there was no charging head available for the cable. At a five-star restaurant, small details like this matter. When guests are spending at that level, the expectation is seamless service, including practical conveniences. Overall, a great dining experience let down slightly by an avoidable service gap. With a bit more attention to these finer details, it would be exceptional.
