Almost two years after opening MERTIA to universal acclaim in Stellenbosch, Marais Kirsten-Uys and Chef Matt van den Berg are bringing a new, very different experience to their hometown. Inspired by nature and the earth, TERRA reimagines the dining experience with a casual, all-day menu – serving breakfast, lunch and dinner – seven days a week.
Just around the corner from MERTIA, TERRA will open its doors in early October, offering the perfect refuge for sout-van-die-aarde, lekker mense. While Chef Matt will oversee the culinary vision for their new, earthy, everyday eatery as Executive Chef, TERRA will be headed up by experienced Chef, Jarryd Morris.
